This website is operated by Sidequests Studio, a registered company in England and Wales. When we refer to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Sidequests Studio.
What Data We Collect
When you use our service, we may collect the following information:
- GitHub account data: When you sign in via GitHub OAuth, we receive your public profile information (username, avatar URL, profile URL) and your email address. We request only the
read:useranduser:emailscopes. We do not access your repositories, gists, organisations, or any private data. - Submission data: Information you provide about your App Store submissions, including submission type, update type, app category, whether you requested expedited review, and any rejection reasons (including custom text you enter).
- Status events: Timestamps recording when your submission changes status (e.g., waiting for review, in review, approved, rejected).
- Apple contact records: Details of any contact you log with Apple, including the contact method and dates.
- Usage data: Via Google Analytics, we collect data about how you use our site, including pages visited, session duration, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

How We Use Your Data
- To provide the service: tracking and displaying your App Store review wait times.
- To generate aggregate community statistics that help developers understand typical review times. These statistics are anonymised and publicly available.
- To understand usage patterns and improve the service via Google Analytics.
- To serve advertisements via Google AdSense.
Public Visibility of Submission Data
Please be aware that all submission data (submission type, category, wait times, rejection reasons, and Apple contact records) is publicly visible in aggregate statistics and in the community dashboard. This data helps the developer community understand App Store review patterns.
Third-Party Data Sharing
- Google (Analytics & Ads): We share usage and behavioural data with Google for analytics and advertising purposes.
- Third-party database infrastructure: Your submission data is stored using third-party database services.
- We do not sell your personal data to any other parties.
Data Retention and Anonymisation
If you wish to have your data anonymised, you can request this by emailing us at hello@iosappreviewwaittimes.com. Upon request, we will:
- Remove the link between your GitHub account and your submissions (null out your user ID and any personally identifiable information).
- Retain the anonymised submission metadata (submission type, category, wait times) to preserve aggregate community statistics.
Anonymisation will be completed within 30 days of your request.
GitHub OAuth
We use GitHub OAuth for authentication only. Specifically:
- We request the
read:useranduser:emailscopes. - This gives us access to your public profile information and email address only.
- We do not access your repositories, gists, organisations, or any private data.
- You can revoke our access at any time via GitHub → Settings → Applications → Authorised OAuth Apps.
Your Rights
- Request anonymisation of your data.
- Request information about what data we hold about you.
- Revoke GitHub OAuth access at any time through your GitHub settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
